Why is humidity important?
As plants grow they lose water through their leaves (also known as stomata). The issue with this is if the moisture level in the room is too low then the water plants release through their leaves will increase, thus causing stress and bad health.
However, having a humidifier and increasing the level of moisture in the room when needed will have more positive effects on your plants increasing growth rates and health.
