The acoustic box fans are used to move air to-and-from your grow area, removing excess heat and moisture, while replacing CO2 as it becomes depleted. Duct fans also tend to be used in conjunction with carbon filters to remove unwanted smells. Air is drawn through layers of charcoal and cleaned to remove odours before it reaches its exit point, keeping the area odour free. Duct fans are such an important part of any successful grow that it is worth investing in quality equipment to achieve the best possible results.
Using Acoustic Box Fans
The Acoustic Box Fan should be mounted at the top of your grow room, in order to remove hot air as it travels upwards. You should ideally use either acoustic ducting or Phonic Trap. These forms of ducting are lined with insulation that will reduce the levels of noise generated by air as it moves over ridges and bends, creating friction.
